Founder & CEO of CDP Sound
With over 60 years in the business, Del brings a rich body of knowledge and experience in post-production, music, and sound supervision to each project at CDP Sound.
As a film and TV post-production supervisor, he has supervised over 300 films, including works from Sam Raimi and Warren Beatty. He thoroughly understands the technical and personnel requirements needed to supervise and he routinely works with the best creative talent in EFX, foley, ADR, music, and 5.1 mixing. Warner Bros, Sony, Disney, and many other major entertainment companies have chosen Del to bring their projects to life because of his unparalleled professionalism.
Always forward-thinking, Del designed and built CDP Sound Studios, which became the first Dolby 5.1 certified studio in Los Angeles. As new technology has emerged, CDP Sound remains ahead of the curve and continues to deliver full-package sound magic to the entertainment industry worldwide.

As CDP Sound’s COO, Calvin Pfeffer takes the lead on all day-to-day operations, oversees all talent in the studio, manages the workflow of each project, and ensures the technical excellence CDP Sound is known for.
Originally hailing from Wellington, New Zealand, Calvin started his career in finance and economics, then moved to LA to pursue a Bachelor’s in Music and soon found himself immersed in the technical artistry of sound design.
Calvin joined the CDP Sound team in 2012 and has been impressing clients with his passion, dedication, and technical prowess ever since. Calvin is known for being an easygoing master of workflow, who delivers projects in record time with stunning accuracy. Happy clients include Amazon, Netflix, Warner Brothers, Paramount, and Sony.
