Our STUDIO
CDP Sound is a full-service sound-to-picture studio complete with video editing and FTP capability and on-site or remote directing ability. Our facility is designed to accommodate sound creation and post-production for film, trailers, documentaries, episodic and reality television, DVDs, advertising, video games, and streaming content.
Studio TOUR
Dub / ADr STage
Room dimensions: 17'W x 23'L x 15'H
Equipped with fully automated consoles, HDMI script monitoring, a large screen projector, a wide range of vintage and modern mics, and Source Connect, both local and remote sessions are easily manageable. In addition, our stage is large enough to accommodate multiple actors at a time while staying socially distanced. We've eliminated standing wave reflections by constructing a recording stage with non-parallel walls and a high ceiling. Separate air conditioning for the control room and the stage was specifically engineered to provide continuous temperature control without noise interference, so the studio environment stays quiet, clean, comfortable, and customizable.
Control room
Room dimensions: 12'W x 16'L x 15'H
Our acoustically superior control room records directly to Pro Tools HD to make sessions fast and dependable. Formats include 5.1 Surround, 2-channel stereo, and mono. The studio control room comfortably seats multiple clients and can also be directly patched to remote locations, making directing from afar simple and easy. Separate air conditioning for the control room and the stage provides continuous temperature control without noise interference and keeps our team members and studio guests healthy
and happy.
Mix STage

Control|24 fully automated digital consoles work in harmony with 2 Pro Tools HDX systems to create top-notch sound mixes. Dolby Tuned JBL 3-Way 5.1 Theatrical Monitoring delivers the highest quality sound. Our Panasonic HD Video Projector synchs Non-Linear Digital Video, DV Cam, Digibeta, 3/4", and 1/2" playback to our 20' perforated screen.
We've eliminated standing wave reflections by constructing a mix room with a high ceiling and non-parallel walls. Our climate control system design keeps the room environment consistent and noise interference inaudible.
Formats include 5.1 Surround (Dolby Digital), DTS, 4-channel LCRS (Dolby Stereo), 2-channel stereo and mono.
Foley STage

With 9 foley pits, a huge collection of props, top-of-the-line outboard gear, and a unique collection of modern and vintage mics, there's no soundscape we can't create. We've eliminated standing wave reflections by constructing a recording stage with non-parallel walls and a high ceiling. Noise interference from the climate control system is mitigated with a proprietary design that keeps airflow consistent and noise from the system inaudible. In addition, the climate control system for our Foley Stage is independent of other systems in the studio, so air exchange is clean, comfortable, and customizable.
