Regardless of the role you play in getting a production wrapped, we understand that maintaining good health is important and necessary. While we've already had many safety procedures in place for years to protect our voice artists, CDP Sound has recently fortified our arsenal of preventative measures to combat COVID-19 and is committed to protecting the health of all of our clients and studio guests.
Our Steps
for Prevention
Surface, room, and personal sanitization
Before and after each guest visits the studio, all rooms and surfaces are disinfected by a staff member who has maintained proper personal hygiene and is free of COVID-19 symptoms. High-contact surfaces such as doorknobs, countertops, microphones, or other recording equipment that may be touched during a studio visit will always be sterilized.
Separate air conditioning units and full air exchange between occupants
Each room at CDP Sound has its own dedicated air conditioning system, which prohibits the re-circulation of air from one room to another. Air conditioning units perform a full air exchange in each room every 6 minutes. After each occupant, the air is fully exchanged at least three times to ensure fresh, clean air fills each room before a new occupant enters.

CDP sound makes every attempt possible to schedule clients and artists for studio visits so minimal physical interaction is had. In the event that multiple people need to be in the studio at the same time, there is a dedicated guest entrance that is not shared with employees and two socially distanced lounge areas that help everyone stay safe and comfortable.
contactless temperature taking
A fever is one of the early warning signs that your body is fighting an infection. To prevent the potential spread of COVID-19, all studio guests will have their temperature taken with a contactless thermometer upon arrival. Per the CDC's recommendation, anyone with a fever above 100.4° or who is exhibiting symptoms consistent with COVID-19 will not be allowed to continue their visit to the studio and the entire studio will begin sanitization procedures.
